aliahmedpgtengkvs: TIPS for Class XII students-Section A

Hello buddies,
Hope you all are working hard for the Board Exam of English Core scheduled on 27th February 2020.

Here are some simple tips for you:

Remember you have to do well in the English exam to give yourself positive feedback for the ramaining papers.
Start revising all the sections, one by one.
For Section A, Read some comprehension passages and try answering the questions. Write the answers on a paper/note book.
To find the similar word from the passage, focus on the paragraph, if given within bracket, read it two or three times, you will find the word. It is not the same word you are searching. Its similar/alike in meaning. That's not so difficult after all. You can find the word from the context.
For Note making, read another passage and practise making notes for the given passage. Dont forget to add a title and make some abbreviations as well. It will give you two (2) extra marks certainly.
Practise writing the summary from the notes and not from the passage. Try to limit yourself within 80-90 words i.e maximum 10 lines.
Remember, if you can score high in the Reading section, your Total score will be very good as you have covered 30% of the question paper already. But don't waste lot of time.
Try to complete all the questions under this section within 60-70 minutes. (20 marks)
