(a) The children are compared to rootless weeds as they are unwanted and insecure.

The peddler was treated with a lot of warmth at the crofter’s cottage. He was welcomed inside and given hot porridge to eat and tobacco to smoke. It was Edla’s selfless service and her concern for the poor that made him change his ways. In spite of knowing the truth, she treated the peddler with all kindness. She also trusted him and offered to spend the next Christmas with them. Edla awakened his essential goodness of human being through her understanding and love. All this led to a change in the peddler’s heart. He decides to do good in return for her kindness. He returns the stolen money and even discloses his true identity when he signs his name as Captain Von Stahle on the letter.

She does not accept what appear illogical to her. Her father tells her the story of Roger Skunk who smells so bad that other animals turn away from him. Roger Skunk feels himself out of salt. He goes to a wizard and requests him to make him smell like roses. The wizard uses his spell and makes him smell like roses. But when Roger Skunk goes home, his mommy is very angry. She at once goes to the wizard and hits him on the head. The gentle wizard makes Roger Skunk smell very bad again.
Jo does not like this ending. She wants the wizard to hit the mommy on her head for not understanding her kid’s problem.

The Tiger King banned hunting for everyone in his kingdom,
British officer wanted to hunt and take a picture but Tiger King refuses,Tiger King stands in danger of losing his kingdom as the British Officer was annoyed,The Tiger King sent rings worth 3 lacs of rupees as a gift for the British Officer’s wife to please him.British officer’s wife kept all the rings and thus Tiger King’s kingdom was saved.
